Be it a computer professional to a person who doesnt even know how to operate a computer. We have improved medical procedures, improved and faster communication, easy banking, more efficiently running automobiles and appliances. It is hard to think of any area of life that has not been improved by its use. Teachers, Students, Employees, Children, Businessmen, Railway operators, Pilots, Farmers, Doctors, Engineers are all enjoying its benefits.

The purpose of computer has also changed so much. From mere data calculation to watching HD movies, playing games, storing large amounts of data, social networking, and getting any information all this is possible with just one touch and click of our fingers.

Seeing the hold of computers over our lives many times a question comes in our mind that what will be the next level to which computers can take our life to? The answer to that Question is the 5th Generation Computers having Artificial Intelligence.

Computers are getting smarter all the time. Scientists tell us that soon they will be able to talk to us. Our Future would be endowed with the awe-inspiring fifth-generation computers. A sophisticated AI program would eliminate the need for users to write programs, since they could communicate their orders to the computer via ordinary English using Voice recognition features and concepts like parallel programming. These computers will be much faster than present day computers.AI is the ultimate programming challenge, both for the programmer in terms of design and for the computer in terms of execution time.

So our next generation computer will be able to understand, learn and code for itself. Considering all this I think the future of man is under danger, then what will be his role if everything would be done by these intelligent machines?.Well that is a different discussion. Computers are practically irreplaceable and we can't make without them any more. The truth is that computers will continue to rule the world for generations to come.
