When I won the lottery four years ago, I decided to stop working and just dedicate my entire existence to having a good time
. I didnt have any wife or kids and I decided that I was just going to let go of all that constrained me in society and spend my days searching for comfort, fun and satisfaction. I consequently travel all over the country and world every week as I dont like to stay in one place for more that a week or so and also love watching my beloved Peterborough United play and so go to whichever stadium they are playing in each Saturday or Sunday to ensure that I dont miss a minute. This meant that last week I was examining the range of hotels in Derby that are available and eventually ended up staying in a four star establishment that was just round the corner from Pride Park.
I also love festivals and always make sure that I go to Glastonbury and Creamfields, which both occur at the beginning of the festival season in June. Creamfields is a twenty-four hour rave where there is no camping so I always book myself into one of the swankier Liverpool city centre hotels for a bit of rest and recovery after the event rather than immediately hitting the road again. Glastonbury takes place in Somerset on the last weekend of the month and always features an exceptionally eclectic range of world music over the five days. You are also liable to stumble upon stilted clowns breathing fire or wickermen that are two hundred feet tall and have flames bleeding out of their eyes.
Whenever it begins to get cold in the United Kingdom, I immediately hop on a plane to warmer climes to ensure that my vitamin D levels stay fully topped up. For the past two years I have headed for Goa in India as there is this restaurant near the fishing village of Morjim called La Plage that serves quite remarkably delicious French cuisine with views over the Arabian sea and sand between your toes. When it is coldest in the UK it is the hottest in India, so it is an ideal place to seasonally migrate to if you, like me, suffer from the winter blues due to the pervasive grey.
