Changes also happen during divorce. The individuals involved may have to get used to the feeling of not having the other person around. This is one of the psychological changes. Longer marriages makes it harder to cope up to this change, since a person involved in a long-term marriage is usually used to having the other person around on a daily basis. Socially, because of being uncomfortable with people, some old friends may not be your friends anymore. This in turn makes the person involved look for a new set of friends and start a friendship all over again. Economical changes are also present. Splitting of the properties must be set and separate households must be established. Husband or even wives may also be required to pay child support.
