Kenya is a home of very many different species of animals. These have been a source of revenue in the country as tourists come to see them. The government is doing all it can to market itself abroad and this has seen positive impact in the industry. Having a tropical climate, Kenya is a comfortable place for anyone as there weather conditions are conducive.
The most famous animals are the Lion, the Leopard, the Elephant, the Buffalo and the Rhinoceros. These make up the big five community and can be found in almost any national park or game reserve in the country. The Lion also known as the King of the Jungle is the most famous cat in the world. Most of these famous animals live in a community. The leopard and the rhino are solitary animals and only socialize during the mating season. The elephant is the largest mammal in Kenya and can be seen in herds of up to a few hundreds. The lion and the leopard are carnivores and you will normally find them where a lot of gazelles, wildebeests and impalas graze. These famous five can be found in the Masaai Mara, Amboseli and Tsavo national parks among many other parks.
