With the increase of Elvis impersonators a large number of events, festivals and contests are organized attracting thousands of fans hopeful in making it into the industry already jam-packed with thousands of look-alikes. There is no requirement for an artist to be young and white in fact there are Mexican Elvii (plural of Elvis), Greek, Jewish, Chinese and Sikh Elvii.

When Elvis died there were atleast 2000,000 Elvis tribute artists all over the world. Such artists should be acknowledged for keeping the spirit and glory of Elvis alive even 30 years after his death.
