The History Of Suzuki Motorcycles
In 1920 the company that we know today as Suzuki was founded by an individual known as Michio Suzuki. When it was first introduced, the growth was not sudden, but rather the company grew at slow consistent pace. Suzuki had a number of models that became popular and some that were not so popular. In 1953 the Diamond Free motorcycle won the Mount Fuji Hill Climb. This is when consumers really began to recognize the company.
Suzuki's logo was created in the year of 1954, which is still being displayed even to this day. Suzuki first introduced their motorcycles in the United States in 1963, and have grown even more since then because of their ability to build highly efficient, affordable, and dependable motorcycles.
One of the first motorcycles to be released in the United States was the X-6 Hustler. This was one of the fastest machines available during it's reign. This model was superseded with the Titan, which was a 500cc model. Suzuki shocked the world when the put out the GT750 which was a very fast motorcycle that could with a two stroke engine.
The Suzuki name was found on the motocross bikes that took the World Motocross Championship races in a number of consecutive years starting in 1971. Emissions regulations caused a bit of trouble along the way but the company was able to quickly adapt by redesigning some of the four stroke bikes in order to comply with the regulations. These bikes also went on to become very popular.
Suzuki has come on very strong in the cruiser motorcycle industry over the years, especially with their Boulevard model. The Boulevard is available in a number of different engine sizes which suit just about every rider's style. Built with a great look and outstanding comfort, the Boulevard offers a smooth ride with it's 5 speed transmission in just about any type of terrain
The Boulevard is one of the most popular models that Suzuki has to offer and is also one of the more affordable models that they sell. The motorcycle is priced around $13,000 depending on the style and engine size, and is available with a 12 month unlimited warranty which is also very beneficial. One point worth mentioning is that the warranty can be transferred if the motorcycle is sold before it has expired.
Suzuki is now one of the most popular motorcycle producers throughout the world today because they offer a number of different types of motocross bikes, motorcycles, and more. With over 1,600 dealerships, you'll be sure to find the motocross bike or motorcycle that fits your needs.
