The Htc Wildfire Offering Htc Footprints Which Provides Turn By Turn Navigation

The HTC Wildfire has HTC Footprints which offers turn by turn navigation and local

landmarks and points of interest to the user through the internal GPS antenna and digital; compass featured in the handset. It also has a 5 megapixel camera and many entertainment features all through an easy to use user interface with the Android operating system and HTC Sense.

The ringer automatically lowers its volume when then handset is lifted, and if the user places the handset screen face down, the ringer switches to mute automatically too. The HTC Caller ID when an incoming call occurs, not only shows the name, photo and number of the contact, but also their latest Facebook status and a birthday reminder.

The Wildfire has a Gallery application to view photos and videos taken with its 5 megapixel auto focus camera, which also features a flash, and the user can also use Music to listen to tracks not he go, or alternatively listen to live music and news through the integrated FM radio. All the major audio and video file formats are supported, including those for Windows Media Player and iTunes, while the phone is also able to sync with Windows 7, Vista and XP through the HTC Sync suite respectively.

The handset is great for social networking as it includes 7 home screens which can each be customised by the user, to show different contacts, and provide different shortcuts, while the Friend Stream application offers all the users contact in one easy to mange view with their name, number, picture and latest Facebook status, and tweet on Twitter. Photos can be shared instantly through Facebook and Flickr sites, as can videos on YouTube.

The handset offers much in the way of connectivity featuring Bluetooth 2..1 with enhanced data rate, along with A2DP allowing the user to listen wirelessly to their music or video soundtrack. Additionally, the phone has a microUSB 2.0 connection and a 3.5mm audio jack connection for more traditional headphones. The internet is available through 3G, GPRS and EDGE, along with W-Fi for averrable hotspots and services. A full hTML web browser supports full Flash, while the Mail application makes it easy to configure personal mail accounts straight to the phone.

The HTC Wildfire is an impressive touch screen handset with a powerful 5 megapixel camera and a robust random access memory and processor which allow multiple applications to run together through the Android operating system, further enhanced here by HTC Sense technology.
