The Htc Wildfire Offers 7 Home Screens

The HTC Wildfire provides 7 home screens which can each be setup by the user with

different shortcuts to different places, meaning that everything is only one tap away on the capacitive 3.2 inch touchscreen. The handset also puts Facebook, Twitter and messages all into one easy to read thread, and can show the status, latest Tweet and messages all from the same selected friend together.

The phone has a 5 megapixel colour camera with autofocus and flash, and additionally geotagging through the internal GPS which also offers Google Maps and HT Footprints for easy route planning and navigation help.

The phone runs the Android 2.1 Eclair operating system with HTC Sense added. Android Market offers thousands of applications and widgets, and continues to offer more for download continuously. With this handset the user can share a link directly to a great app that they have downloaded and recommend their friend should get too.

The Wildfire has Gallery application for watching videos and looking back at photos, while it also has Music which has sorted music conveniently ready to be found and played back by the user through either the 3.5mm jack plug or the Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP for stereo wireless enjoyment. All major audio and video file formats are supported by this phone.

Social networking is made easy, with the People application which makes it easier than ever to find one or a group of friends through any of the 7 home screens. With a tap or pinch of the touchscreen, the user can move to Leap view which shows each of the 7 home screens as thumbnails, ready for the choice of which one is needed next.

The handset has a full HTML web browser with full support for Flash web applications to be viewed also, providing better accessibility to all that the Web has t offer, from anywhere. YouTube application lets the user enjoy and share videos on the popular video-sharing site, while photo sharing is made easy and is available through Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.

The phone also has a built-in flashlight, which is dimple, convenient for those occasions when a torch is needed. The HTC Caller ID meanwhile, doesnt only show who is calling by name and number but also now adds their latest Facebook status and other useful information, such as if it is their birthday, as a reminder before answering.

The HTC Wildfire features all the usefulness of an Android touchscreen mobile, while adding additional extras for easier social networking and organising the phone between friends, groups of friends and work.
