The Juke Box Rock And Roll Revolution
Remember the days when all you did was hang around at the malt shop
, listening and dancing to your favourite rock and roll hits playing from the jukebox? Don't you wish you could get those days back again? It isn't really all that hard to bring a little bit of nostalgia into your life, and there are all kinds of jukeboxes out there, antique and new, so you should have no trouble finding one, no matter what your budget.
Jukeboxes are still popular, and they are often found in many establishments, including taverns, pubs and restaurants. Actually, a jukebox is the ideal thing for these types of businesses, because not only can patrons choose what they want to listen to, it will save you money on hiring bands or DJ's.
Bring In More Patrons To Your Bar or Tavern
A jukebox also takes up a lot less space in your establishment than a stage or DJ booth (if you have a tavern or night club), leaving more floor space, which can be used for additional seating, or a dance floor. With a dance floor, you can be sure that people will be playing the jukebox all night long, just so they can dance. So, let's review...no DJ or band, save $$$. Extra tables or dance floor, bringing in more patrons...earn $$$. And, collecting revenue from the jukebox itself...make even more $$$. Sounds pretty great, doesn't it? All you need to do is contact an amusement sales, service and rental company, such as Pinballs R' Us.
Jukeboxes in Restaurants
If you are a restaurant owner, depending on your decor, a jukebox may be just the thing to liven the place up. And, if you happen to have a 50's-themed restaurant, you know, decorated in red and white with tile floors, a juke box is the ideal finishing touch to complete the nostalgic look. A jukebox is great in take-outs, giving patrons something to do while they are waiting for their orders. And just think of how much your wait staff will love having music to work to! It makes the shift go a heck of a lot faster!
What About Community Centres?
You know, there are a lot of people who take advantage of the services offered by community centres, and a lot of those people are young people who have nothing to do. If you are involved with a community centre, why not see if you can get the management to invest in a dance for the kids. You don't have to get a band or DJ, but a jukebox instead. Make sure that it is stocked with all of the songs kids today love (and of course, a few for the adult chaperones too), and have one of your staff or volunteers on hand to change songs. Or, program a bunch of songs in, and let the music play on and on.
Jukeboxes are great fun, and readily available for rent or purchase. For your eating or drinking establishment, or if you plan to hold a party or dance, why not get a jukebox? They're nostalgic, they're fun, and they cost a lot less than other forms of entertainment.
