The Law of Attraction in Day to Day Life
Many people seem to be under the impression that the Law of Attraction is like good china, - something to be brought out and used only for special occasions. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The Law of Attraction is a constant in our lives. It is responsive to our every thought, whether that thought is positive or negative. It is important to accept this as a fact if you are going to succeed in using it to change your life and to bring you the things you most desire.
One of the most important questions you should ask yourself is, "How have I been using the Law of Attraction so far?" Stand back and take an objective look at your life. What kind of work do you do? Do you enjoy it? Is this the kind of work you have always wanted to do, or is it something you just fell into?
What kind of friends do you have? Are you all supportive of each other? Do you feel a genuine sense of caring when you are with them, or, once again, are these just friendships that you fell into? Take a good look at your surroundings, your home as well as your neighborhood. Is this where you want to be? What about your material possessions?
All of these are perfect reflections of the way you have used the Law of Attraction so far in your life. In most cases, they reflect your beliefs about how you think your life was supposed to be. One of the basic supporting laws of the Law of Attraction is the Law of Belief, because until we stand back and observe our lives objectively, we are not capable of thinking in any significant way that is contrary to our system of beliefs.
The Law of Attraction is responsive to our thoughts, and unless we make a conscious effort to change our beliefs about how our lives can be, our thoughts will continue to follow the grid set forth by our beliefs. Beliefs can be changed, but we must first become conscious of them. We must deliberately take the time to think different kinds of thoughts than we have been used to thinking.
Try this for the next thirty days:
For five minutes a day (more will not help, it will only make the problem of a limiting belief seem even more powerful), think of the end result of how you want your life to be...now. Yes, how you want your life to be transformed now, and not in five years. Make sure, for that five-minute period, that your intentions are absolutely clear. Use words and mental pictures, and try to feel the way you will once your desires have been realized.
Then forget about it. Do not go through the rest of the day worrying about negative thoughts, but do try to change your thinking by not dwelling on these negative thoughts too much.
You will be surprised at how that short, five-minute period will begin to change the balance of your thinking...and how quickly the Law of Attraction will begin to act on your behalf to bring you what you want.
