Sometimes, because of adrenaline rush, the heart beats uncontrollably and that results to hyperventilation and later on heartburn and indigestion.

Remember, stress can cause stomach upset and in order to get rid of stress you must learn how to keep your body relaxed when it comes. Since indigestion involves both food and stress, you can incorporate some relaxation exercises in your mealtime. Just before you eat, put yourself in a calm state. A noisy background may distract your thoughts causing you to eat in a hurry, thus, leaving your food not chewed properly.

Prepare a healthy well-balanced meal that includes fish, oats, bread, yogurt, and fruits and vegetables that are rich in fiber and avoid fatty and acidic food that can cause gastritis.

Since most stomach problems are caused by too much stress, your best defense against it is the opposite of stress, which is rest. Know how to fight stress to the best of your ability. But you must also realize that stress in this life is inevitable and the only way to beat it is to give yourself a break.
