Apartments are one of the most popular types of housing in the Philippines today

. What made it popular over other types of housing was because of its affordability. This advantages made it easier for many Filipinos to find a type of residence that they could easily afford compared to actually buying a house or a townhouse.

The good about apartments is that they have several other types compared to other forms of housing. This allows people to choose from which they would likely use the apartment for, if its for temporary use or for long term. Some of the most recognized forms of apartments available in the market today include the studio type apartments, one-bedroom apartments, and the garden apartment complex. So what are these types of apartments?

Studio type apartments

A studio type apartment is a self-contained, small apartment, which combines living room, bedroom and kitchenette into a single unit, barring a bathroom. These types of apartments are usually similar to condominium units, although smaller. According to many Real estate Philippines experts, studio type apartments are considered as one of the most popular types of apartments in the Philippines.

Usually the smallest type of apartment, studio type apartments are known to have the lowest of rents in a given area. Popular uses of studio type apartments are for students as well as non-married individuals. Studio type apartments, however, are not perfect for large families.

One-bedroom apartments

Moving up from studio type apartments are the one-bedroom apartments. Compared to studio type apartments, according to Real estate Philippines experts, these types of apartments are usually bigger, with one bedroom separate from the rest of the apartment. The advantage of one-bedroom apartments from studio type apartments is that its usually spacious, which is perfect for small family. The cost isn't as very significant.

Aside from the one-bedroom apartment, there is also the two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and so on. The bigger it gets, however, the larger the rent would be. Small apartmentsoften have only one entrance, whereas these types of apartments may have two separate entrances, perhaps a door in the front and another in the back (still depends on the design).

Garden apartment complex

The most luxurious, and expensive, type of apartment available in the market. These types of apartments consists of low-rise apartment buildings built with landscaped grounds surrounding them. According to Real estate Philippines experts, these types of apartments are usually similar to townhouse complexes, in which each apartment has its own building entrance, or just a few apartments share a small foyer or stairwell at each building entrance.
