Money
It's a common understanding that money has emerged to be the most common reward to employees. A simple reason is the fact that it's simpler and has immediate effect. This can be shown in a situation where a company opts to reward its employees on going beyond their sales and hence bringing profitable contracts to the company.

They form part of the simplest rewards that a company can employ. Employees who have reached a certain admirable performance can go home smiling with such incentives as t-shirts, jackets, shirts, pins and even hats. I am quite sure a good number of scholars and the public in general are aware of the importance of a gift certificate. Gift certificates are non-monetary rewards which can be used to motivate excellent performers. These often offer access to special items such as dinner in a fancy restaurant and one is able to enjoy other big discounts at a chosen shop like in supermarkets.
Travel incentives
Sometimes, being in your office is quite hectic especially if you are in direct contact with customers. The incentive offers employees time away from office providing them with an opportunity to relax and have good time. They may range from usual short trips to fully financed tropical vacation. The scaling in value of travel incentive makes it one of the most appropriate employee incentives. They will have to chase such incentives by maximizing their input. The productivity of a company will automatically on its best.
Work leave
This is sometimes known as time away from work. This is one of the simplest in this category which is designed to reward those employees who have a perfect attendance record during the current year. Most companies offer Day off certificates which vary from company to company. The employees have opportunities to choose their appropriate day off which should be communicated to office concerned in time.
A company can extend the reward to its employee's family. This way the family will provide humble setting for the employee. It's important to include the employee's family in the rewarding event regardless of its monetary value. Imagine the impact a company will create by treating the family to a dinner or in inviting them to the award ceremony? It will be wonderful! The company can as well send the family to a trip and live to sing the song of good employee performance.
In designing employee incentive, one needs to ensure that it not only measures performance but also give something meaningful to the employees. A point based program will allow employees to choose which incentive they prefer. They will then earn points and benefit by redeeming such points at a later date.
It's not necessary that employee's incentives have to be expensive. Their ultimate effect is of concern when designing one. When one is being appreciated motivates him or her to work even harder. This is a simple reason that we can't ignore applying them.
