The Motorola Milestone 2 is powered by a 1 gigahertz processor and includes an enhanced

version of the Motoblur user interface on top of the now Android 2.2 (Froyo) and includes faster web browsing and a connected media player with many impressive features.

The handset has up to 8 gigabytes of internal memory as well as a microSD card slot offering up to 32 gigabytes of expandable memory, of which an 8 gigabyte card is included. This all allows you to have plenty of music, photos, videos, books, games and more on your handset. You can enjoy the easy touch screen interface to take you into the world of Android Froyo with virtual keypads alongside the slide out Qwerty keyboard.

The handset features the new HTML Webkit browser with Adobe Flash player 10.1 allowing you to view every webpage in its fullness, and watch Flash videos and features inside the browser also. Meanwhile, Android Market allows you to download further applications to enhance your phone. It also feature many Google mobile services including GMail email provider, Maps with street view and navigation, News and weather widgets and Talk for instant messaging.

The Milestone 2 offers great connectivity with Bluetooth class 1.54, version 2.1 with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) including wireless stereo profiles. It also offers both an Assisted GPS (aGPS) and Simultaneous GPS (sGPS) allowing it to offer navigation and location based services. In addition it has easy synchronisation support for calendar, email and contacts through its micro USB connection.

The handset has an impressive 5 megapixel auto focus camera with dual LED flash and digital zoom for greater picture quality. This is as well as its image stabilisation, real-time colour effects, various scene modes and automatic location (geo) tagging. The camera also has integrated image editing tools for cropping, rotating and amending the geotagging data.

Messaging capabilities are also provided with corporate syncs email as well as push email and the integrated GMail mentioned. There is also multimedia messaging with integrated sync and stream to Facebook, Twitter and MySpace to one screen through the Motoblur technology offered. Swype predicative text meanwhile makes it faster and easier to send text messages and the voice to text feature can eliminate the need to type altogether.

The Motorola Milestone 2 is an impressive handset featuring great advances and the latest is almost every aspect of technology, such as the latest Android operating system and an updated version of Motoblur. All of this is wrapped into a slightly more elegant design than the previous model.
