The Nokia 3720 Classic is now available in Yellow

. The handset is durable and well built and has been IP54 certified, meaning it is dust and water resistant. This makes it ideal for those who are seeking a phone for outdoor use, for example sports enthusiasts, who those who work outside. It's functionality is relatively basic compared to many other phones, it was never Nokia's intention to make this a Smart Phone.

The 2.2 inch TFT screen utilizes a pixel resolution of 240x320 to display up to 16 million colours. The handset is comfortable to use when out and about thanks to it's light weight of just 94 grams. Despite offering basic functionality, users can customise their handset to some extent, for example, MP3 music files can be used as ringtones, and polyphonics can be downloaded for this purpose also. A speakerphone system is installed, allowing users to talk hands free.

The handset stays connected in all but the most remote areas thanks to Class 11 GRPS and EDGE. Bluetooth is installed as standard; in this case it is version 2.1 with A2DP. This offers an effective and efficient means of transferring files and data between compatible devices in the same vicinity. Micro USB (v2.0) connectivity allows the handset to be hooked up to a PC where files can be transferred and backed up.

A selection of games and an FM radio player accompany the versatile media player to provide a package of entertainment options. The media player supports music and video files in a range of formats. Storage for data such as media files is provided in the shape of 20 MB of internal storage, along with a micro SD slot. This has a pre-installed 1GB memory card; however it will accommodate an upgraded memory card of up to 8GB offering ample storage for contacts and files.

A 2 megapixel camera operates at a pixel resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, offering a convenient means to take reasonably good quality images. It incorporates an LED flash for taking pictures in low lighting conditions. This camera also has the ability to shoot video in QCIF quality at a rate of 15 frames per second.

Several other handy features are included, such as T9 predictive text input, voice memo recorder and a flashlight.

The Nokia 3720 Classic Yellow serves the purpose for those who are seeking a basic and durable handset, or for those who need a spare handset in case their main one is damaged. The yellow colour scheme adds a little more aesthetic appeal to this functional mobile phone.
