. The handset makes social networking and messaging easy with features such as conversational text messaging.

The stylish handset can quickly get the user on the Internet using the Wi-Fi connection or if unavailable, the GPRS class a or EGPRS class A connections, as well as being capable of acting as a data modem. The user can then browse full webpages through the Nokia OSS web browser installed on this handset, which has support for all major scripting technologies. Opera Mini Browser is also included, producing optimised webpages for viewing also.

The C3 has a 2 megapixel resolution camera with up to 4 times digital zoom capability along with the use of the full screen as a viewfinder, for easy photo-taking. The camera creates images in the JPEG file format and the viewfinder also offers various effects including greyscale, sepia and negative modes for photos. The camera can also capture video of any length up to the free memory capacity held at the time by the device. Video capture is in MPEG-4 and also has up to 4 times digital zoom along with a scene setting feature, video light, white balance and colour toning.

The handset has a high speed USB 2.0 connection along with Bluetooth 2.1 with enhanced data rate (EDR) for wireless file sharing, messaging and connectivity. It has 55 megabytes of internal memory along with up to 8 gigabytes of expandable memory through microSD card technology.

There is easy access to emails as the phone provides simple configuration to popularly used email services including Yahoo Mail, Google Mail, WIndows Live, Hotmail and others along with POP and IMAP protocol support. Additionally, a free Ovi Mail account is provided for the user for direct emailing to and fro the handset. Instant messaging is also available, again from the most popular instant messaging services such as Google Talk, in addition to Ovi Chat. As well as SMS, there is also conversational text messaging which presents messages in a chat-style view.

The Nokia Music Player sorts all of the users music tracks and allows them to produce their own playlists for their music too. All the major audio file formats are supported, and MP3, AAC and 64-tone polyphonic files can also be used as ringtones. In addition to the music player, the handset also has an integrated stereo FM radio with RDS support.

The Nokia C3 is a stylish phone which features a QWERTY keyboard and social messaging features which make it easy for the user to stay in contact with friends. It also has a camera for photo and video capture as well as music and games for entertainment on the go.
