The Progressive Problem is Nothing More Than Regurgitated Regression

It makes a lot of sense, and even though I have never read it, I surely like that title. Of course, like anything else, there are a couple of problems with that title, first she is calling those who vote Democrat "liberal" but they really aren't, especially with regards to the Oxford Dictionary definition.

You see, the current push of the Democrats is nothing short of a move towards socialism. Consider if you will their move to nationalize several industries and force folks to buy health care insurance and make a law which provides socialized medicine - that's socialism. That's how it starts.

Not long ago, I was debating with a young and nave individual claiming to have an IQ equal or close to mine, my gosh, it made me want to gag as I contemplated his shallow arrogance and it reminded me of another book by Bernard Goldberg "Arrogance - Rescuing America from the Media" written in 2003 [Best Selling Book]. Anyway, after explaining to this acquaintance my observations, he stated the most ridiculous thing, he said;

"I certainly get the impression that you have dark suspicions about what kind of ruthless person I must be if I am capable of expressing such liberal ideas."

Indeed, well, I had to tell him; oh, I wouldn't say anyone has to be ruthless or think devious to promote socialist-liberal-progressive views, as we all know; "The road to hell is often paved with the greatest of intentions," so, you could also be mistaken when you put passion to perseverance and principle. Still, I am quite certain many politically active progressives are completely ruthless, in fact, I know many who are. Obviously, the same goes for their political opponents.

But the individual went on to claim that he had a "transformative vision for the world" which is amazing considering "the progressive movement" is quite regressive by nature, in that it is busy trying all we know not to work. In fact, I had to laugh, as that was an interesting perspective and opinion, is this what he calls it; Transformative Vision?

Well, we have our nation headed in the wrong direction, everyone knows this, and yet, the Democrats and their pied piper followers call this direction; transformative vision? OMG, we really need to vote these folks out of office ASAP, and never let them hold a position higher than dog catcher! Please consider all this, I am serious, this is getting crazy - be sure to vote in 2010.
