There is no doubt in some peoples live that prayer lines and prayer itself have made a definite difference

. It is the first way we communicate as Christians to God for advice and dilemmas. Some say that if we band together and organize a prayer vigil that everyone can participate in, that a real difference can be made in the world we live in. For one instance there is a certain comrade that comes with folks in general banding together for one common cause, whether it be for a sick loved one or for victims of some natural disaster.

Looking at the act of prayer and why it is hard for some people to actually make the commitment, we might see that prayer means making yourself very vulnerable in order to submit yourself to God. Most people like to feel in control of their situations, and it is human nature to want to feel a sense of empowerment through our own actions. Prayer takes away that barrier and instead turns to pure faith.

Another key situation with prayer lines is that many feel uncomfortable about praying because they have not or cannot see God and talk to him. Talking to the air and not getting responses is very unnatural in any culture to most. This is where the faith part comes into play when you are on a prayer line. This service will alleviate the sort of uncomfortable feeling that you were getting now since it is not face to face but there is a voice on the end of the line, then it psychologically makes it better.

Unbelievably there are churches out there that will teach you how to pray effectively. Now in closing, when you have situations that come up and you have nobody to talk to there is a solution to the problems that affect you every day. Do some research and find quality prayer lines to either call into or video conference from anywhere around the globe to participate.
