None of them were in her local area but they all offered plenty for this young nurse to think about. She had to consider what locations she was willing to work in, what type of salary and compensation she needed, how much flexibility she wanted in her schedule and how assignments were distributed among all of the nurses in a given agency. All things considered, Jenny settled on the best agency and signed the deal.

Jenny did her homework before she began submitting resumes in order to guarantee she would only be interviewing with those agencies she thought were the best. Today, Jenny is happily working as a travel nurse and wouldn't trade it for the world.

The right agency can provide you with assignments you love, places you want to visit, and an overall atmosphere that makes you feel valued as a nurse. If your pay and compensation package includes things like health insurance, travel allowance and housing, that's all the better. The point is that the right staffing agency can be the best thing for your career. The wrong staffing agency can be a nightmare. Take your time and choose wisely.
