Exterior features first. This radio-controlled truck's muscular body is painted with ProGraphix, a unique painting style that produces crisp coloring, smooth fades and clean lines. The graphic quality and design is excellent. The standard 'blaze of fire' design is perfectly fitting for the Traxxas E-Maxx's road power. But it is also available in various graphic designs and different color schemes like blue, red and white and black. As for the wheels, this toy has an extended 30mm wheelbase for improved stability; and it uses 3.8 inch mirror chrome twin-spoke wheels and 3.8 inch Maxx chevron tires.
Now for under the hood. The Traxxas E-Maxx boasts of twin-titan fan-cooled 550 high-torque motors. It has 30% longer motor armatures. Aside from that, this toy uses a waterproof Traxxas EVX-2 electronic speed control, which draws power from dual 7-cell battery packs, 14.4 power system and TQ-3 3-channel radio. It also uses the Revo-Spec Torque Control, to handle more torque produced by the motor and battery. As for the handling, the Traxxas E-Maxx rages the road with its two-speed transmission and dual servo steering system. When purchased, the parts are fully-assembled and this radio-controlled truck is ready-to-run.
This radio-controlled truck's electronics and other inner parts and sealed and waterproof, so that it can run on basically whatever kind of terrain. Even the servos and ESC are fully-protected. So whether it be water, mud, snow, sand and other unfriendly conditions, the Traxxas E-Maxx surely blazes the trail. For casual hobbyists and the more serious RC enthusiasts, this radio-controlled truck is sure to bring hours of fun and excitement.
