If there are places with strict dress codes, like bars with fancy bar stools, or a broadcasting company that wants you to report the news on air, it can be especially important to use your head when accessorizing. Here are the rules of accessorizing for somebody who cares about how they look. 1. Never, ever over accessorize, its gaudy, desperate, and it just takes away from your pretty face. 2. If you wear long, dangling earrings, try not to wear a big, a expressive necklace on the same day. Wear posts with large necklaces and wear subtle necklaces with long earrings. 3. Avoid wearing too many rings, its distracting and doesnt look too professional either. 4. Anklets are nice accents but if you work in a professional setting, hemp and beads might not be the preferred look. 5. Definitely avoid funky head bands and hair clips that divert attention away from your put together outfit and your beautiful face. Stay simple and neutral. 6. Dont wear longer necklaces with V-neck shirts, especially if you have a larger bust this can put attention in places you dont want it. 7. Stay away from any jewelry that can get in the way such as belts that constantly get stuck on seats, earrings that always get caught in your sweater, and bracelets that make it hard for you to type or write comfortably. 8. If you are going out to bars you can get a little crazy and add some extra charm with belly chains and nose piercings, but always remember that when you are in a workplace, accessorizing can ruin or make your outfit. Think about your overall appearance, and accessorize accordingly.
