The Samsung Jet has a fast responding Super AMOLED touch screen display measuring 3.1 inches

. This relatively new display technology offers almost life-like colour and responds faster to touches and the phones operations, especially as it is combined with a powerful 800MHz application processor in this handset.

The phone offers Dolfin Browser for the Web, based on WebKit (3.2), the browser offers all the features of a desktop PC browser including bookmarking and history, and support for Flash, besides the standard protocols. Favourite websites can also be accessed visa an on screen widget that can be easily added by the user for fast and direct access. Such shortcuts re already included for the popular social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Push email is also provided, as is push technology and syncing wit the calendar and events. MS Exchange ActiveSync offers the Exchange email user, an easy syncing option for their email too. In addition to this SMS ,MMS and video messaging are all also included.

It features autofocus, Smile, Mosaic, Frame and Panorama shot modes, as well as blink detection, geotagging and 13 different scene modes for the DVD quality video recording which it is capable of at 30 frames per second (fps). Likewise the video playback is of equal quality. Photos captured and videos shot can both be edited also.

The Jet has a multi-task manager and the processor drives its ability to provide fast movement between multiple applications running in sync with each other, and fast response when using each respectively. Connectivity is offered in USB and Bluetooth (version 2.1). The handset has 2.5G and 3G capabilities in addition to EDGE, GPRS and HSDPA.

The phone has a full Music Player sorting music and making it easy for the user to ind before enjoying it playing over their stereo headphones through the jack ear plug. In addition they can enjoy FM radio both live, or recorded with a recording option being available.

The Samsung Jet features multiple capabilities and advanced hardware which makes it clear to understand why Samsung have pitted it as smarter than a smartphone, as it certainly does compare. This handset provides all the necessities of a simple and easy user interface, along with fast multiple applications and a camera for great photo capture and video recording.
