Many do report that this is not the case, since the picture is somewhat softer, and that the screen is on par with the brightness of a plasma set. The one thing this design does do is create a super slim design, with the set only being about 1 inch deep, making it one of the slimmest on the market.

You can get updates on weather and sport, and this can make your set interactive, especially when you access other internet content. You can also connect it to a computer and use the set to watch content from there, and the USB ports allow you to add removable media for viewing as well.

The only major drawback to the set is the audio. This set is thin, and the speakers are not as good as aficionados will like. The sound is adequate, and does produce good sound, but those seeking a theater like experience will need an external sound system.

The energy the Samsung UE40B7000 is superior to others on the market. Averaging about 100 to 130w, this significantly uses less energy, and this can translate into high savings for you on your bills. This set over all is an exceptional value and a quality product that will give many hours of enjoyment.
