The Sony Ericsson Spiro Providing A 2.2 Inch Tft Display

The Sony Ericsson Spiro has a 2.2 inch TFT display with a slide out traditional 14-key phone keypad

, along with dedicated media keys combining the phone capabilities with its integrated Walkman functionality. It also has a camera and great messaging and social networking features.

The handset has the Obigo Q7 web browser which renders full HTML webpages for the user to enjoy the fullness of the Web and its text and images for information and news. Favourite and commonly used websites can be accessed quickly through the bookmarks feature also. Meanwhile, both Twitter and Facebook are each present as individual applications for easy social networking capabilities.

The Spiro combines all of its features as a mobile phone with the full features of a Walkman through its Walkman Player which sorts tracks easily for the user to enjoy their music through their phone, with both a 3.5mm jack connection for headphones and Bluetooth (A2DP) stereo wireless available to utilise. On the front of the handset, dedicated media keys for playback are also located. Further entertainment is also offered by the integrated FM radio with RDS support.

The handset features Conversations for simple chatting with friends along with picture messaging and predictive text input to make text messaging faster for the user. Meanwhile, Sound Recorder allows the user to make audio recordings, which can be shared via multimedia messaging also.

Connectivity is offered through the Bluetooth connection for simple wireless sharing of files such as images between other Bluetooth devices and the handset. Additionally, the micro USB connection present allows mass sharing of files and data with any compatible computer, aided by the USB support offered.

The phone has a 2 megapixel camera for images and video clip recording with up to 2 times digital zoom for further clarity when using the camera to record great moments. The messaging and social networking capabilities then make it possible to share images and video clips with friends easily and instantly.

The compact handset has 5 megabytes of internal phone memory and for storage memory a microSD card slot which offers the user up to 16 gigabytes worth of memory for their media, applications and music. The display has wallpaper animation and pictures can be set as the wallpaper also.

The Sony Ericsson Spiro is a compact and classy mobile phone with excellent and fast access to music, making it ideal for the user who uses their phone for both their music and keeping in touch wherever they roam.
