The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro Offers All Round Appeal

With an extensive list of specifications, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro is nothing short of stunning

. The original Sony Ericsson Vivaz has recently been heavily advertised on UK television and gain quite a following. This model sees the addition of a full QWERTY keyboard, offering appeal to those who prefer a physical keyboard to touchscreen text entry.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro offers 75 MB of internal storage as standard, which is plenty of space for data such as music tracks, video clips and photos. A micro SD card slot is also included for the same purpose and comes with a pre-installed 8 GB memory card. Should further storage be required, this can be replaced with a larger card of up to 16 GB.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro measures 109x 52x 15 mm making it relatively pocket friendly, especially given its light weight of just 117 g, which is impressive for a handset with a separate keyboard unit.

This handset excels an everyday functionality with a long list of features and applications which are sure to keep users busy for hours on end. For entertainment purposes, a versatile internal media player is provided which supports most of the common formats of both video and music files. A stereo FM radio player and a number of pre-installed games are also included to keep users occupied. Direct access to a number of popular websites is provided via dedicated applications. These include Facebook and twitter for social networkers, as well as Google maps which functions thanks to GPS with A-GPS support.

Several different connectivity methods are employed by the Vivaz Pro to provide it with optimum levels of connectivity dependent upon area and network coverage. Connection to cellular networks is provided via class 10 versions of both EDGE & GPRS. In areas covered by 3G, access to the Internet is made available thanks to an HSDPA connection (along with an HSUPA connection for uploading content). Wi-Fi Technology is included which detects the signals provided by wireless Internet routers, and takes advantage of these to provide users with a faster Internet connection and therefore and enhanced browsing experience. Connection to other compatible hardware devices is via Bluetooth and micro USB.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro is equipped with an impressive, and very versatile five mega pixel digital camera. This operates at a pixel resolution of 2560x 1920 pixels and has Autofocus and an LED flash built in to simplify the task of taking quality snapshots even in low lighting conditions. A number of other image enhancing features include touch focus, face and smile detection as well as geo-tagging which utilises GPS to record the location at which a photo was taken. The camera can also shoot video in 720p quality at 24 frames per second.

The 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen provides astounding quality display of on screen content. This is thanks to the ability to display up to 16M colours within a pixel setup of 360x 640 pixels. The combination of touchscreen navigation and a keyboard text entry combine to best of both worlds offering appeal to all manner of users.

Available in both black and white, this functional handset also offers appeal to style conscious users who view their phone as a fashion statement.
