The Sony Ericsson Zylo Silver has up to 16 gigabytes of microSD card memory available for music

, photos, videos and more. The phone is also capable of producing both photos and video with its 3.2 megapixel camera it also features a wide range of messaging capabilities including email along with an impressive Walkman player for music.

The phone has a great organiser range too, featuring a timer and stopwatch, tasks and notes along with a calendar and alarm clock, calculator and a simple phone book. It also has Flight Mode which disables the radio receivers allowing other functions to be safely used while on a flight.

The email client is able to connect to any major email protocols including popular services from email providers such as Google Mail and Hotmail, while also offering instant messaging, text and picture messaging and predictive text input to make all easier and faster for the user.

The Zylo Silver offers not only its many phone features, but also a complete Walkman player which has automatically sorted music tracks and creates playlists based on artists, album and genre along with album artwork to easily find the right music. SensMe provides the right playlist for the mood by matching tracks with the same genre together ready for the user to enjoy. PlayNow offers the user a place to download further music, while the TrackID feature can identify unknown music via a recorded snippet.

The phone boasts a complete web browser which supports all the major web standards (HTML, XHTML) and protocols (HTTP, WAP) while also having pan and zoom functionality to help the user on the display screen. Web feeds allow the user to get updates or recent news from desired websites or services automatically, while bookmarks allows the user to save web addresses for fast reference in the future. Meanwhile, Google search provides a rapid method for searching the Web.

The camera offered by this handset is 3.2 megapixel with up to 2 times digital zoom and offers easy image taking with Photo fix which balances the colour and contrast in an image taken to increase its quality. Video recording is also available as is video calling with the same camera. The send to web feature allows the user to instantly send new pictures or videos to a personal blog or website, an alternative to also messaging, emailing or adding it to one of the integrated social networking applications, Facebook, Twitter, Picasa and Flickr respectively.

The Sony Ericsson Zylo Silver provides a mobile phone combined with a great music player and digital camera allowing it to serve for multiple purposes wherever the user is. It is a compact and easy to use handset with a simplistic user interface through its 2.6 inch TFT screen.
