The highest poker hand is the royal flush. It includes an ace, king, queen, jack, and ten all in the same suit. The straight poker hand consists of five cards of the same suit in sequence. If players have both straight flushes, the one with the higher top card will win.

Four of a kind is another poker hand that has four cards of the same rank, like four jacks for example, plus one card. This type of poker hand is also known as quads. The player that holds the higher set of four cards will win over his opponent whos also holding a four of a kind combination. Other poker hand combinations include, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind and pairs.
