Despite the fact that in the past Bristol has made an effective contribution to manufacturing particularly in aviation, it has now built a world class reputation as a cultural leader, through the work of theatre organisations such as the Bristol Old Vic.

Another fact about Bristol is the fact that it is widely regarded as one of the nicest places to live in the UK, Bristolians are statistically proven to represent the top 10% of the happiest people in the UK. This proves that there are so many things that Bristolians have done to help ensure that the city continues to grow well into the 21st century.
