Unlike it's predecessor, Expression Web allows both visual and coding website design, and is in direct competition with the Adobe Dreamweaver program.

Which One Is Right for Me?

Dreamweaver and Expression Web are very similar in nature, and offer most of the same features. If you are just learning website design, then either one is fine, and you should choose between the two by the type of software you are familiar with. For example, if you are already familiar with Microsoft programs, then you'll probably find Expression Web to be easier to learn with.

On the other hand, Dreamweaver is a well established web design program, and is more "mature". Expression Web has only been around since 2006, when it replaced Microsoft Frontpage. Dreamweaver does offer features that Expression Web does not, which might play into your decision, and is used by many companies that do website design in Sydney.
