It is a good idea to accentuate your costume by adding blood, fangs or putting prosthetic wounds and cuts on the costume. Another good idea for a Halloween costume is to dress up as a historical figure, such as John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, King Arthur, Al Capone or Cleopatra

Young children will dress up in a scary or fun costume and go around trick-or-treating in their local neighborhoods. Young adults will dress up to attend parties for school dances. Costumes are also popular at attractions such as haunted houses and haunted hayrides. Haunted houses and haunted hayrides will feature people dressed up as scary monsters that try to spook you around every turn.
