How the tables have turned; what were once fears that oil production levels would reach their peak, are now concerns that excessive supplies may be to the detriment of research into alternative energy technologies. However, one thing is for sure: industry professionals can look forward to a rise in the number of oil and gas jobs, as well as their wages.
