The new improved Vista has been given a complete makeover to make it world class in terms of design, comfort, style and technology. Incredibly spacious (due to larger exterior dimensions of 3.8 metres in length and 1.7 metres wide) is comes in choice of seven different colours, from Mint White and Gala Red to the more sedate yet sophisticated Infinity Black. And although it's a highly practical car, the Vista has a sporty look from the front with the headlamps resembling a petal petal design and safety conscious stacked tail lights that give you great visibility in traffic.

But for those of you who appreciate a comfortable drive, then perhaps the best the best thing about the Vista is the design of its interior, where comfort and ease were clear design priorities. The interior space is truly top-end, due to both larger exterior dimensions and improved packaging. If you love little storage places, you'll love the Vista - the new console has plenty of well designed utility spaces and an exceptionally large and deep glove compartment big enough for your laptop. And it looks good as well, the dashboard has two-tone colour and a grain finish scheme that just shouts quality. All the front seats have lumbar support and the driver's seat is height adjustable as well. Because the steering wheel also has a tile adjustable feature, the driver of the Vista can be assured of a comfortable drive. All models of the Vista have air conditioning with demisting and heating functions. In addition all versions have lights in the luggage compartments and power outlets in the front. If you want a bit more space for luggage, the rear seat can be folded own.

And it's not just a pretty face. The Vista's suspension enables a ride that is supple but not too soft, allowing exceptional handling for a compact vehicle. What takes the driving experience to another level is the hydraulically actuated rack and pinion power steering system. The unique new suspension system isolates noise and vibration, giving you a superior ride and top-end handling quality. The fuel tank holds 44 litres and the Vista weighs between 1 030 and 1055 kg depending on the version you choose. All three models also have 5J x 14 steel rims, with 175/65 R 14 tyres. And there are no nasty surprises - a full size spare wheel is standard with all Vista models. If it's driving safety you're worried about, the Vista is the car for you. The Vista's braking system has a vacuum assisted independent dual circuit system which is diagonally split. Disc brakes work in front and drums in the back - all adding up to better handling and safety to give you more confidence on the road. Even the parking brake is world class - it is a lever type system mounted in the console that acts on your rear brakes to make sure that you are parked safely and securely on even acute slopes.

The Vista is a very safe car in every respect, from child safety locks on the rear doors to stop your little ones trying to "escape", to crumple zones and side impact bars to protect them in the event of a collision. All versions also feature central locking and an immobilizer as well as a collapsible steering column. Optional on some Vista models are also airbags and ABS brakes with Emergency Brake Distribution (EBD).
