All you need when it comes to dating is that window of opportunity. The window of opportunity that ensures whether or not you remain friends or become more. This window of opportunity has no timescale, nor does it become that obvious. But if you want to make your move then it is of paramount importance that you do it as quickly as possible.

Once you are in this friend zone you will need a hell of a lot of luck to get out of it. If you are able to get out of it then well done to you. But otherwise you need to seize the window of opportunity as quickly as possible. The one good thing about the window of opportunity and how it presents itself is that it means she is interested in you. If you get a signal that something could happen then it is all you need to initiate the first move.

When the opportunity does present itself you need to ensure that you are ready. Be different with her; no longer be just her friend. You need to be confident and flirty. You need to show her that you are able to be more of a man than she could ever imagine. By all accounts you need to rock her world to show her that she has been missing out on an awful lot all these years.

By doing so you ensure that there is no way she can resist you. By doing this there is no possible way you can slip back into the friend zone by the situation becoming stale and platonic. Treat her like your girlfriend not your friend. It is ok to be her friend as well in fact it adds to the appeal. Being able to be with one of your best friends takes away all the possible awkwardness and tension that you normally get in the early part of a relationship.

The most important thing however is that you don't risk losing your friendship. If there is any possible chance of this and you don't think the risk is worth it, don't risk it. Some would argue there is a risk to all relationships and that it is quite hard to remain friends afterwards, but if it's worth it then risk it. Life is too short to think about what could have been so take a plunge into the unknown and delve into the darkness.
