He has also written about other heavyweights such as John Harvey Kellogg and Alfred Kinsey. Now you may be tempted to think the author T C Boyle may find it difficult to find a man with a greater size of ego than Frank Lloyd Wright.

Critics do not like the way T C Boyle writes, simply because he doesnt write in the usual generous manner as other writers do, but he has established a genre for himself and he sticks to it, by and large. Frank Lloyd Wright had scandalous romances, went through personal tragedies and made statements which would amuse a satirist.

Frank Lloyd Wright created some of the grandest architectural designs of 20th century America, though he was a lucky reckless adventurer as well. The way he positioned his structures on the top of waterfalls, slopes and a hotel designed by him which withstood a major earthquake, all tell a tale of exceptional brilliance which had its fair share of follies as well. It is difficult to sum up the personality of Frank Lloyd Wright in a simple sentence, though The Women makes a decent attempt. According to T C Boyle, he was a bundle of contradictions and was proud of it. If you find the book The Women interesting, its not just because of the historical documentation, its also because the fiction earns your interest on its own also.

Indelible Characters

At the same time, there is a possibility even when he is doing his best to portray facts only, T C Boyle may end up doing something negative for the protagonist since he is writing fiction. He then goes on to create characters which are indelible.
