But, in foreign countries, such as companies in France, they adopted high-quality equipments and manage them scientifically and systematically.

Thirdly, the distance exists on process management. It is fact that most companies producing valves are not professional, small but complete with mix products. The workshops are generally designed irrationally and the components do not stack orderly. Besides, in most cases, the equipments are arranged according to their categories or shapes. It is not wise to do this. Though it appears to be neat, it is not favorable for producing actually. It is appreciated to form a production line to maximize the labor efficiency like that in foreign manufacturing companies.

At last, the distance exists on capacity for technological innovation. Perhaps, it is the major obstacle for the prosperity of valves in domestic companies. It is common to bring in new technologies and not to further development. Referring to the design and application of general valves, the manufacturing process is similar at home and abroad. But the quality of products is different indeed. The companies abroad have realized and learnt to overcome the shortages resulting from the materials. Thus, it is the difference caused by innovative thinking.

Above all, it is a long way for Chinese companies to get rid of the weakness of the industry of valves. However, we must believe that the future is promising. We can realize the major competitive advantage in China is the low cost. We should make full use of the advantage and pay more attention on the pioneering thinking.
