, which just opened. There has been a lot of mystical speculations regarding the portrait which hangs at this show's set. It has been said that an unknown individual has held on to this picture for quite some time. The owner was traveling down the road when this picture suddenly got her eye and she suddenly bought it under reasons even she cannot understand.

It was impossible that she could afford it, but she waited there for the clerk to take the picture out of the window for her. School was round the corner and they needed her to purchase supplies, clothes and books for them. There is just no way I can afford to buy this so I am sorry I cannot take it, she thought to herself first before talking to the clerk. She disclosed what she intended to, but as the girl tried to return the portrait, she suddenly uttered, I cannot afford it, but I will still buy it and I want it badly.

She hurried out of the antique store after paying the attendant but she could not figure out why she got that picture even as she could not afford it and she was also wondering about how she will explain herself to her spouse once he gets home and sees what she had spent so much for. The picture is in oil of a Borzoi, a Russian wolfhound painted by an artist in the late 1800's or early 1900's.

It would be a wonder to someone trained to be familiar with this Russian wolfhound's features, why the artist chose to depict the dog in almost a straight on pose, where only its head and shoulders are painted but nevertheless it was a beautiful picture. There is not even proper proportion between the chest and shoulders.The fact that her eyes are trained to know what a Borzoi should look like exactly makes it seem weird as she bought this picture.

Eerily, when her husband came home that night, the lady was initially scared that he would get mad as she bought that before the things needed by their children, but then it was so ironic that he also felt some attraction towards it like she did. Amateurs and experts have all taken shots of this painting but it never came out the same, ever.

It was both creepy and amazing how strange lights would linger on the painting's surface, sometimes making it look like it was in color and then black and white sometimes, then there would also be moments when the dog would appear to be flat then three dimensional all of a sudden but the most bizarre instance would perhaps be a spectral face showing on its right side.

We can only blame light reflections or our overactive imaginations for I certainly do not think that there is something wrong with this dog portrait, stated the husband as he was discussing supernatural probabilities behind the portrait in their home. Suddenly, a huge ceramic dish, which was initially hung on the wall fell with a crash on the floor without breaking into pieces.

The producer director of the playhouse went to the home of the couple upon learning about the stories about the portrait and explained to them that it was perfect for his play which was a story of the supernatural so they gladly loaned it to him so that it could be part of his set. They shared to the producer that they never got to know who moved into the house on the day this portrait was bought by them and maybe if they loaned it for a show like the Innocents, they can determine who. This being the truth is what they are hoping for.
