While it is said Indians, pirates, and conquistadors once roamed the island, you are more likely to see golfers, fishermen and tennis pros roaming it today. This island is home to fabulous restaurants, shopping, and hotels.

What else is there to do on these islands? More than you will even be able to pack into your vacation, no matter how long! Start by enjoying the beaches on both islands by way of swimming, snorkeling, boating, shelling, or just getting a righteous tan. Captiva, FL is home to Yolo Watersports, which will have you using wave runners or even taking in the sky views by way of parasailing. Sanibel offers even more to do. Why not head over to the Island Cruise Line and take a day trip around the island where you can enjoy dolphin watching and scuba diving.
