Think And Grow Rich From Home

One thing that I really love about business, especially in the information age, is that it can be created or generated anytime and anyplace out of the fruits of our thoughts and creativity. Robert Kiyosaki talks about money being an idea, a construct. So if that is the case, then ideas should also be able to product it, right?

Do you realize that this very article that you are reading, along with the Multi-Million Dollar Mindset product, blog and membership club started out as a scribbled list of four or five bullet points on a composition book? It literally came to me when I was pouring a glass of wine and getting ready to watch a DVD from Netflix.

In fact, every business that youve ever known of from Microsoft to Dell to Virgin Airlines to even the personal computer that you are using right now began first as a figment of someones imagination. Unfortunately, western education and society teaches us that our creativity is of no value. Arts programs are taken out of schools at increasing rates. We are taught both in the classroom and in the workplace to follow the systems and guidelines of larger organizations.

Our own ideas are routinely omitted from any creative process whatsoever. When I entered corporate America it did not take me long to realize that in corporate structure even though many companies claim to want smart people, at the end of the day they really dont want you to think that much. They want people to be very effective cogs in a system with predetermined rules. That makes them more replicable.

I also noticed that many times the people who got promoted in corporate America, or who climbed the ladder quickly were more so people who played the politics right and followed these rules as opposed to really being bright people who had ideas to bring to the table. As I said before, this starts in school from being told what to do all the time to the point where by adulthood most people have had most of their own ingenuity stomped out of them. And what still exists is shrouded in self doubt.

We are trained to feel that we cannot be successful without some big organization behind us. This is why so many people work day in and day out in dead end jobs that they hate with great ideas in their head for businesses that they never, ever execute or bring to fruition. That being said, it is your individual responsibility to foster the creativity that you have inside and channel it into your next brilliant business idea.

Let me ask you something. How many million dollar ideas have you had in the past week, month or year that you never wrote down? I have an assignment for you. Keep some form of notepad around that you can use as an entrepreneurial journal. Whenever you get an idea, write it down. You will be surprised at how good some of the stuff will be that you will come up with.
