Thought Energies
Thoughts have energy
Thoughts have energy. They express themselves in non-verbal ways much of the time. They communicate essential information to all who are present and receptive. The often times subtle external phenomena giving insight into another's internal world. Some like David Hawkins suggest there is a universal consciousness, an energy field we can all express and tap into, and it may or not be true.
David Hawkins was a close associate of the late Linus Pauling who won two Nobel Prizes and remains the only one to have ever done so twice. Together they founded the science of Ortho-Molecular Psychiatry.
Later David went on to become a spiritual guru and founded his own institute of advanced spirituality.
I am not certain he is still alive but in the last interviews I saw of him, they were not particularly encouraging in this regard. He had the disposition of an ancient Yoda who was struggling physically and mentally to keep the vast abyss at bay. It seems this might be a fate we all will share with him in time.
In his book, 'Power vs Force, the hidden determinants of human behaviour', he outlined his beliefs in the supremacy of thought to influence our destinies and the destinies of others. He also believed that thought energies were beyond physical articulation and had a medium of conduction of their own, although he never scientifically defined the mechanisms. He also said that the quality of our thoughts largely determined the person we were and the outcomes that they would achieve, both personally, and in their greater influence beyond ourselves into the pool of human conscience. He then goes on to talk about enlightenment and the hierarchy of consciousness.
I was recently discussing with a scientist, researcher friend of mine, the fact that some people can live long lives without eating food. There are several books published on the phenomena and the one that he referred to was, "Life from Light." But what began the discussion was a presentation he had seen at an international science conference that was the basis for a 10 day documentary about one man in india who had gone 65 years without consuming water or food. He said that the presentation was quite compelling!
I said that I can understand someone getting their energy from electric sources from the earth and radiation sources from the sun and he could still even get enough water from bathing, absorbtion through the skin, but what about protein turnover I said? Unless the man has immortal proteins then I was entirely skeptical.
He replied that," transmutation, if true, could supply all the molecules he needed from nitrogen, oxygen, carbon and water. There seems to be some evidence that it may be true."
I did not and do not know how to reply to his assertion. I had never thought about it before.
Perhaps he was right, but I don't know. Perhaps thoughts have supreme control over our destinies. Epigenetics seems to imply as much and epigenetics I do believe in. It seems the mind has more control over genetic expression than previously believed and that even Darwinian evolution of species theory itself may not be including the apparent force of thought and it's influences on morphogenesis. It is not difficult to reveal the feed back loops responsible for these interactions between mind and body.
..to quote Shakespeare, ..."he which is, was wished for until he was"..., in an evolutionary sense, both personally, and on the wholesale it may be both.
just some thoughts,
