Therefore, one great thing to remember when you are in your undergraduate degree is to try to get the degree as quickly as possible. This will allow you to hit the work place faster and get work experience, or get you into law school faster so that you can be one step closer to the goal.

2. Don't Be Afraid to Get Work Experience

Many law schools like to accept people who already have a good amount of work experience. If you follow the first suggestion you will have gotten your undergraduate degree done at a solid, fast pace. This will allow you to take one to two years to get some valuable work experience. This is a great time to test out the legal profession and make sure that it is something that you like. Many schools look favorably on business experience as well as law experience. Even non-profit work in the public sector can help you to have a more competitive application. The goal here is to make yourself as well rounded as possible, so the the law school admissions board is willing to accept you.

3. Prepare For the LSAT

The LSAT is the standardized entrance exam that most law schools use to determine if you would be a successful law student and eventual lawyer in Surrey. The LSAT will account for about a third of your application. The other third is your G.P.A. and the other third is extra curricular and work experience. With so much riding on this one test it is imperative that you do well on it. There are so many programs available to students to teach you how to take the LSAT.
