The last thing you will need to work out is what method you are going to use to connect your CCTV system together and how you are going to power your CCTV system. Each security camera in your system will require a power supply (CCTV PSU) which is usually a 12V power supply depending on the voltage of your CCTV cameras. You will also need to get the images from your security cameras back to your DVR using either a CCTV cable which is usually an RG59 type cable or by using a wireless transmitter and receiver which you will connect at the camera end and the DVR end.
