'Tibia' is a free mmorpg. Tibia is a great alternative to games like RuneScape or WoW. One of it's main strenghts is the fact that it's free.

Tibia is , for me, one of those games you just want to keep playing. I've played it for 6 years now and it's still interesting for me. (of course I took breaks in between).

There are 4 different classes in Tibia; The Knight, who hits people with melee-weapons and knows about no magic, The paladin, the ranger of tibia and 2 types of mages with little difference. To learn more, go to Tibia.com

One great thing about Tibia is the atmospehere and the feeling of the game. In Tibia, you can kill anyone at almost any time with no limits, and the death penalty is pretty rough. You have to constantly be on your toes if you wish to remain alive. If you die, you lose some of your equipment, your hard-earned level and your skills. In Tibia, there's no level limit, so this spices up the pvp even more.

The pvp in Tibia is a little like chess. Characters may not walk through other characters like they can in f.e. WoW. At higher levels, trapping your enemies with your friends and your spells so the enemies can't move becomes a critical part of player-killing (pking). On normal servers, if you kill too many people at a given timeframe you can get a red or black skull as a penalty. This means your character drops more loot, but you can still keep killing anyone you want to. Ahh, it's so fulfilling to kill people that have annoyed you...

Tibia has fairly bad graphics, but don't let that bother you, it's really not the point of the game. The point is the content. See screenshots at Tibia.com or google image search
