Time Management In Network Marketing Is Important-How You Should Spend Your Time Growing Your MLM Business!
In one of my previous articles I talked about time wasters in MLM and how you should avoid them and spend your time doing only productive things in your business. I now want to share with you the "non time-wasters" that you should focus on! Here is how I spend my time growing my six-figure per year MLM business.
First, I get up early. I am out the door right away for a walk with my dog. I need to exercise in the morning because it wakes me up and I have the time to do it before the hectic day begins. I am creative in the morning and so that is when I write my articles, in fact it isn't even 8:00AM and I am writing this very article. I write articles as part of one of my online marketing campaigns and link people back to my blog where I show the best ways to grow a successful MLM Business.
After I write in the morning, I get right into prospecting for leads. My goal each day is to reach twenty five to thirty prospects per day. To do this I need to focus on finding at least 200 potential prospects each day (5 days per week)! I reach them in different ways, both offline and online. I need to be out there at least four hours per day using attraction marketing and other prospecting techniques to generate potential leads. I then collect realtors phone numbers I have seen on for sale signs and the phone numbers from business cards I have picked up from networking events and community bulletin boards (found in diners and coffee shops) along with other contacts I have found.
Next, I call the leads that are coming in from my article marketing and other online marketing activities. I call the list of realtors and contacts from business cards I have collected. I also send at least 50 messages to business people via Facebook. I send out my twitter messages and I return the phone calls from people who have found my contact information from my offline marketing activities and facebook messages! This is the time where I follow up with people who have already become leads to keep in touch with them and answer questions for them, etc. This can take up to three or four hours, depending on the number of people I am able to contact.
I invite most of my leads to my weekly webinars. These webinars are split up into my MLM business opportunity, and general MLM business tips. The business opportunity is for those I have personally invited to learn about my MLM company so they can make the decision to join me in my business or move on. The business tips webinar is for those who have seen my articles and other messages online who want to learn more about how to grow their own current network marketing businesses. They are also for brand new people to the MLM industry who may want to start their own business. I run two to four webinars per week and I also send people to my taped webinars.
The rest of my business time is spent doing business organization activities and setting up my marketing campaigns. The bulk of my time is prospecting, follow up and presenting, or as I like to call them, the money making activities. There are some days, of course, that don't run smoothly or I am not able to stick to my schedule. Most days, though, are spent growing my business. Be sure to take some time off to have fun, relax and get away from the daily schedule too because even though you are working hard, you will need a break to actually have fun with your friends and loved ones. If you follow a focused type of routine where you are sure to perform the three major money making activities almost every day, you will grow your MLM business. It is all about time management, the desire to reach your goals, and the consistency with which you run your network marketing business that will make you succeed!
