Make sure to do a little comparison shopping to get the best deal on painting products. It is however important to ensure that pricing is compared accurately. Some paints might be cheaper than others; however is it thinner or will it cover as well? Those are factors to consider, not only the price. Use better paint brushes because they allow the paint to transfer onto the wall smoother and without clumping or having uneven strokes. Another tip is to avoid dipping the brush into the paint more than 1/3 of the length of the bristles. This puts too much paint in the brush, makes it hard to clean up and provides a very inefficient painting technique. This saves time during clean up time! Also make sure to clean the rim of the paint can before storing it, this can save the paint from drying and making the lid stick! Remember painting DIY tricks should be used every time possible!
