Tips On Finding A Girlfriend In College For The Ordinary Freshman
College can be a pretty exciting time, which is why incoming freshmen look forward to it with a sense of anticipation
. Sure, you may also be a little bit worried about how you'll survive, especially if it's the first time you've ever tried living away from home. However, your fears about having nobody to clean up after you or cook your meals should be overshadowed by the prospect of meeting new people and entering new relationships, especially with girls. Here some good advice on finding a girlfriend in college.
1. Take your studies seriously. Academics are the biggest reason why you're in college in the first place, and the classroom is actually one of the most obvious places where you can meet attractive women. Certainly, you won't meet them if you spend most of your days napping in the dorm.
When in class, try to befriend the girls without seeming obnoxious or creepy. Act natural. Try to make a witty remark or two about the subject or the professor, but make sure that it is not offensive; some people actually enjoy the classes they enrol in. Take advantage of group projects or challenging assignments to get close to a girl you're attracted to.
2. Be part of a special-interest group. It could be a young artists' society, the math club or the chess team - what matters is that it lets you develop your interests and hone your skills while giving you the chance to meet girls who may like the same things you do.
It's a serious possibility that you could find something developing with a girl on your team while prepping for a competition or painting placards for a protest rally, so get out there and be an active member of the group.
3. Show some school spirit. Pep rallies and University Day are all perfect opportunities to meet women. Besides, these age-old traditions were initiated precisely for the reason of bringing students together despite their diverse backgrounds.
Girls like guys who know how to party and who are capable of committing themselves, even if it's just to his school or his fraternity so don't hesitate to join the fun.
4. Get a part-time job. Not everyone can be the star debater or hot quarterback. But even if you are an average freshman, you can impress the girls by being more grown-up and mature than your peers.
When you have a part-time job, girls will see you as someone who is responsible and glamorously engaged in the "real world". Try interning, doing volunteer work or even freelancing. Not only will you have extra income - you are bound to become more interesting to the ladies as well.
If you're serious about finding a girlfriend in college, you can do it even if you're just an average guy. It doesn't matter if you're just in your first year - you just have to grow up and put yourself out there. Anyway, it's worth giving it a try; after all, a girlfriend could be really comforting during the challenging times ahead.
