Tips On How To Shave While Using The Moist Shaving Method

Shaving is often considered to be a difficult thing to do but it is not as hard as you might think

. Just understanding little bits of the process can actually make things worse since you don't know what to do and when to do it. Here are some easy things you need to know when wet shaving.

Making sure that your pores are open and relaxed will ensure that you don't suffer skin problems the next day. I highly recommend that you do your shaving right after you have had a shower. But for most of us, we don't have this kind of time therefore you need to read on.

You can put a towel over your head and run hot water in the sink. This will capture the steam under the towel and help open your pores. You could also use a hot towel against your face but make sure that it is not too hot. You don't want to scorch yourself. Even a little warmth should be sufficient.

Some people like those that use a straight razor, like to use a special brush to lather on shaving soap or cream. However, if your pores are open then using regular shaving cream is okay too. If you happen to use a brush, then you should soak it in hot water to help loosen and soften the hairs before they rub the skin on your face.

If you irritate your pores enough they will close up and trap in the dirt, oil and even soap inside them. This is one of the major causes of skin rashes and bumps after shaving.

You should always have the sharpest razor that you can find for shaving. If you don't want to scrape your skin or cut it, then don't use a dull razor. Dull razors make us press harder against our skin just to the cut hair. Getting cuts on your skin is often the result of using too much force to cut your hair.
