In addition to the threat posed by flames from the kitchen silk trees stand the risk of being enveloped by a layer of grease from the air in the kitchen. This grease will prove challenging to remove if it gets onto the silk trees.

Try to keep your artificial trees away from direct sunlight as much as possible. The fabrics used in the manufacture of artificial trees are usually synthetic. What this means is that if they are left exposed to direct sunlight for lengthy periods of time their colors will begin to fade.

Choose a leaf in an inconspicuous spot on the plant and try cleaning that first. Some of the materials used to make up the artificial trees and their adhesives may have adverse reactions to being cleaned that way.

Artificial trees are the preferred choice for may people because they are low maintenance, do their job well, and can literally last for years. For them to remain looking as close to what they looked like when they were just purchased however they do need a bit of care. It's not really difficult; all it needs is a bit of time and effort.
