So let's jump right in and look at some easy tips for losing weight quickly without having to keep yourself on a diet of lettuce leaves, celery and a cup of water a day or putting yourself on a workout regime that would finish off a long distance runner. This will take some work, but the better news is it's not going to make every day an uphill struggle.

Here's the first healthy tip and it's a simple one. Water. It's pretty cheap and it's not gonna make you count the calories in every glass that's for sure. So what's the big deal with water? It makes you feel full so when those cravings for a Hershey bar or whatever really start to bite, reaching for a glass of the old H20 can get you through the worst of it.

If you're out and about make sure you've got a bottle of water handy. It's gonna come in useful at some point, especially if you're meeting up with some friends and you know that a couple of them always have some candy in their pockets ready to nibble on.

Another good tip for losing weight is to make sure that people know what you're up to. This isn't just so you have an excuse if you're pretty cranky and miserable, it also makes sense in a psychological way. You don't need to tell everyone though, just keep it between you and a few people that you like.

What happens is that you're more likely to go through with something if you've already told someone that you're gonna do it, and this could give you the drive to get through it when times get hard.

The next one is simple but not usually easy. Try your hardest to give yourself a bit of love. Yes, even when you're raging with yourself because your willpower snapped and you had to have some of that cake. You're not perfect and no one (including yourself) should ever expect you to be. Seriously, allowing yourself a little room to make mistakes or accepting a slip up every so often is gonna keep you on track.

If you're using willpower alone to stick to some horrible diet then you're setting yourself up to fail because you make a connection in your mind between dieting and pain. Give yourself a bit of acceptance and love, then if you do start to lose control a bit you'll find it easier to stick to your diet again. Try it, it works.
