So you are finally ready for your wonderful Disney cruise that is going to be an experience of a life time. However it is best to follow the tips mentioned below so that your Disney Cruise vacation goes as perfectly as you dreamt it to be. First and foremost, it is advisable that you reach the port well in advance. You will have to check in your luggage and then you will have to find your room. You will then get accustomed to what is on offer aboard the cruise. So it is best to reach the port about two hours in advance. Also the check in procedure starts as early as 10.30 am in the morning. Hence you will have to plan your plane arrival at least one day in advance to Florida. Do not take a risk of flying in Florida at 8 am and then going straight to the port. You will suffer a huge setback in case the plane is late and you can miss your cruise. So it is better to spend overnight in a hotel and then check in at the port in the morning the next day.

When you check in at the port for your wonderful Disney cruise. Each group has about 50 people and the earlier you check in the lower your group number will be. It is like a first in first out basis. Though the official time of going on board is 1 p.m. it could begin early at 12.30 pm, especially if the number of groups is more. If you are in one of the first groups to board the ship then it might be about 4 hours even before the ship pulls up its anchor and is ready to leave. But there is no need to worry in this case as you can start exploring the mighty ship and there are plenty of entertainment options to look out for. Just relax, get accustomed to the lovely environment and have a great time.

If your package includes meals on board then it is advised that you don't buy any eatable before you board the ship. This is because lunch is served immediately after the ship leaves and it surely is a sumptuous lunch. In case you board the cruise very early then the chances are that your room might not be ready. In this case it is best to carry a small day bag with you like a bathing suit and some clothes so that you can at least go for a swim. Remember that if you plan well in advance for excursions then you will save yourself the hell of the first day hysteria of long lines of people making last minute bookings for excursions and just running to and fro.

Sea sickness could spoil your mood and you might get affected by it on the first day. So be prepared for it and you could also carry some type of sea sickness medications
