If you follow these rules you should loss weight, but also practice portion control.

This is not saying you can never have the foods like pizza, cake, and sweets, but you need to limit these. Plan your meals for the week before you shop, and make sure to make a shopping list, and stick to it. Also look at ads in papers to see if you find what you need on sale, also look for coupons on items you need. Saving money and being a smart shopper improves self esteem and helps reduce the stress of over spending.

In order for any diet to work you need to learn to stop emotional eating. Bingeing, snacking and over eating are sometime away of hiding and emotional problem you may be dealing with. Try relaxing music, meditation, inspirational music or books to help with these emotions instead of going in the kitchen. Meditation is also good for dealing with your emotions. Learn the techniques of Meditation and it can help with other areas of your life also. There are many books on helping you heal, and food addiction is an illness so seek help from a profession or read books dealing with your problems instead of overeating. Going for walks helps you tone your body, but also relieves stress.
